Financial support is provided to all graduate students in Pharmaceutical Sciences through a combined mechanism of fellowships, teaching assistantships (TA), and research assistantships (RA). Funding packages for first-year graduate students in the Pharmaceutical Sciences Ph.D. Program are provided by the School of Pharmacy, and consist of a mixture of fellowship and/or TA support. In addition, first-year students receive $1500 in flexible funds, paid in two installments; this money may be spent at the student’s discretion. After the first academic year, students are supported by their thesis advisor via RA or TA appointments.
All Pharmaceutical Sciences graduate students receive a stipend (the recommended level for graduate students in the division is $22,000/year), full tuition remission, and comprehensive health insurance.
