• Participate in the Career Fair
The Pharmacy Career Fair is an annual event, sponsored by the School of Pharmacy Student Senate, designed to expose students to the multitude of career opportunities in pharmacy-related professions. Students have the opportunity to meet employers, ask questions, and learn about internship, pharmacy technician, pharmacist, and industrial pharmacy positions. • Post a job on our web site
Employers may post technical, professional, internships, residencies, and other career opportunities on the School of Pharmacy website. Chris Bischel in the Student & Academic Affairs Office acts as the School's point person for this process. Students are notified weekly via email message when updates to the site have occurred.
• Hold an information session
An Employer Information Session is a one-hour presentation regarding the company/organization, employer's hiring process, company benefits, and available positions. Please contact Student & Academic Affairs if you wish to set up a session.
• Conduct on-campus interviews
Spend the day interviewing School of Pharmacy students! If you are an employer interested in conducting an on-site interview at the School of Pharmacy please contact Student & Academic Affairs.
The UW School of Pharmacy Student Senate and the Pharmacy Alumni Association coordinate a pharmacy mentor program for pre-pharmacy and first-year Pharm D. students. The purpose of this program is to provide an opportunity for these students to explore the many different areas of pharmacy practice in order to find their niche in the profession.
