The Pharmacy Career Fair is an annual event, sponsored by the School of Pharmacy Student Senate, designed to expose students to the multitude of career opportunities in pharmacy-related professions. Students have the opportunity to meet employers, ask questions, and learn about internship, pharmacy technician, pharmacist, residency, and industrial pharmacy positions. The 2009 Pharmacy Career Fair and Residency Showcase will be held on Monday, October 26, 2009 at the Memorial Union in the Great Hall and Tripp Commons on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus. The event will begin at 2:30 p.m and end at 6:00 p.m.
Participants will have the option to do a brief informational session for interested students from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the Career Fair at the Memorial Union. Interview space will also be available from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
On Tuesday, October 27, 2009 clerkship sites will have the opportunity to do a brief overview of their site for students in the 3rd year of the Pharm.D. program. Presentations will take place at the School of Pharmacy.
