Extension Services in Pharmacy (ESP) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of pharmacy continuing education.
ESP routinely considers requests from medical education companies, medical communication companies, the pharmaceutical industry, etc., to provide pharmacy accreditation for educational and/or scientific programs. To adequately evaluate such requests and to determine if the proposed event/program is consistent with our educational mission and guidelines as well as ACPE accreditation guidelines, we require information regarding the proposed program. Any agreement by ESP to provide pharmacy accreditation will be based on our expectation to be an active participant in program development through the review/approval of program content, faculty, marketing and evaluation.
Please refer to the links as described below that will provide you with the type of information we need as well as options for submitting that information to us. At a minimum, we need to receive such information at least 45 days prior to the scheduled date/release of such program. In most cases, it is anticipated that a considerably greater lead time will be necessary.
