Pharmacy Practice

Areas of research in the Pharmacy Practice Division include: medication utilization, sleep disorders, osteoporosis, hematology/oncology, cardiac rehabilitation, family medicine, asthma, lung transplantation, epilepsy, heart failure, diabetes, long term care, pulmonary/critical care, and metabolic/nutrition support.

Pharmaceutical Sciences

The Pharmaceutical Sciences Division consists of three core areas: Drug Discovery, Drug Action, and Drug Delivery. These cores encompass the disciplines of medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutical biochemistry, pharmaceutics, biotechnology, pharmacology and toxicology.

Social and Administrative Sciences in Pharmacy

The Social and Administrative Sciences in Pharmacy (SAS) Division seeks to integrate knowledge of pharmacy and pharmaceuticals with knowledge from economics, history sociology, psychology, management sciences, communication, education, epidemiology, law, and ethics. Our focus is on the scientific and humanistic bases for understanding and influencing interactions involving patients, medicines, caregivers, and health care systems.
