Connect your laptop to the computer cord (which is shown on the upper-right hand corner of the photo). This will give your laptop power. If you have audio in your presentation, connect your laptop to the audio cord (which is shown in the bottom-right hand corner of the photo).
Note for Mac Users: You will need a VGA extension cord to connect your laptop to the computer cord. In some cases, you will also need to change display settings to get it to work with the digital projectors.
Select the SEND to Proj. button on the panel screen.
Note: Mute is activited by clicking on the Mute Center Proj. The button turns green when the digital projector is on mute. Therfore, nothing will show up on the screen when mute is
activated.
Launch the program/file you would like to present. For example if you would like to present a PowerPoint presentation simply start up the presentation.
Problem: The digital projector is cropping my PowerPoint presentation.
On your laptop, close out of PowerPoint, then resync your laptop to the digital projector (steps 4 and 5). When the digital projector is no longer cropping the image, start up your PowerPoint.
Problem: The laptop screen is blank. First click on preview mode. (Preview mode is the square on the right-side of the panel screen that displays the image from the digital projector.) Then resync your laptop to the digital projector (steps 4 and 5). Then hold the function and F7 key down at the same time. (For some laptops the monitor button may be a different F key.) This will allow the computer to toggle between the digital projector, laptop screen, and both. You may have to press the function and F key 3 times until it runs through the sequence.
