  • B.S. 1990 Chemistry/Math University of St. Thomas

Overview

Eric's graduate research focused on automation in DNA sequencing technologies. He went to work for Lexicon Genetics in the Woodlands, Texas, where he was the first to automate high throughput RNA isolation in mouse embryonic stem (ES) cells. As the company changed its focus from knock-out mice to drug discovery and development Eric transitioned to high throughput screening (HTS) and laboratory informatics. As the chief liaison between chemists and biolgists he led a multi-disciplinary team to implement a software system capable of capturing and analyzing all data generated in the drug discovery process.

Eric's primary responsibilities are the development, implementation and evaluation of continuing education offerings for individuals in the pharmaceutical industry within the United States.
