Acrobat Reader

You need a current version of Acrobat Reader to view PDF files on the pharmacy Web site. The latest version of this free program can be downloaded from the Adobe Acrobat Reader Web Site.


Problems Viewing PDF file

If you receive an error opening a PDF file from your browser, you can download the document and open the .pdf file manually in Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0. To do this, follow the steps listed below.

Step 1: In your browser, locate the web page with the link to the Acrobat document

Step 2: Download the document to your desktop or a location you can write to using the method appropriate to the computer and Web browser software.

Make note of the name of the .pdf file as you download it

PC - Microsoft Internet Explorer

PC - Netscape Navigator/Communicator

Mac - Netscape Navigator/Communicator -- Microsoft Internet Explorer

A. Use your mouse to right-click on the link to the Acrobat document, and choose "Save Target As..."

B. Select the location that you would like to save the file to from the Save in drop down menu. Then click the save button at the bottom right hand corner of the window.

PC
Netscape Navigator/Communicator
A. Use your mouse to right-click on the link to the Acrobat document and choose "Save Link As..."

B. Select the location that you would like to save the file to from the Save in drop down menu. Then click the save button at the bottom right hand corner of the window.

Mac
Internet Explorer/ Netscape Navigator/Communicator

A. Hold the Option key down, and click on the link to the Acrobat document. This will download the file to the computer's default location (most likely the desktop) and open the download manager. After it has finished downloading, you can close the winodw.

Step 3:
In the Finder (Mac) or Windows Explorer (Win), locate the .pdf file and open it by
· double-clicking it or
· drag and dropping on Acrobat Reader, or
· opening Acrobat Reader and choosing File: Open...


Problems Printing PDF file

If you are unable to print the PDF document, or if you can only print parts of the document, you will need to make some changes to your print settings in Adobe Acrobat. Please follow the steps below.

Step 1. In your Web browser or Adobe Acrobat Reader, go to the File menu and select Print, or press Ctrl+P (PC).

Step 2. In the Print dialog box, be sure the checkbox next to 'Print as image' is selected. By checking the box next to 'Fit to page' you will guarantee that the pages will print exactly as you see them. Your dialog box should look like the following image.
