| 8:00 – 11:45 am | Opening General Session (Room 1345 Health Sciences Learning Center) Delegates will be welcomed by representatives of the University of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy and representatives of the U.S. and Thai Consortium member institutions. New member schools of the Consortium will make a short presentation about their institutions. The keynote address will be given by Thomas Thielke. Mr. Thielke is clinical professor, UW School of Pharmacy, Vice President for Professional and Support Services, University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, and past president of the Hospital Pharmacists Section, Federation of International Pharmacists (FIP). This session will also feature an update on pharmacy education in Thailand from representatives of the Pharmacy Education Council of Thailand and a report from Dr. Ken Miller of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy. |

Plenary session: Building the Infrastructure for Future Scholarly Collaboration (Room 1345 Health Sciences Learning Center) Dr. William Mellon (University of Wisconsin): “Prospects for Joint U.S. – Thai PhD Programs” Dr. Earlene Lipowski (University of Florida): “Opportunities for and Barriers to Collaborative Scholarship” |
| 2:45 – 4:00 pm | Delegates will have the opportunity to select from three concurrent sessions during the afternoon. (Rooms to be announced) These sessions will address research, clinical practice and social and administrative pharmacy. The topics have been selected to be of interest to administrators, faculty members, graduate students and professional students of pharmacy. |
| 4:00 – 4:30 pm | Concluding plenary session: Delegates will hear and discuss reports from each of the concurrent sessions. (Rooms to be announced) |
| 6:00 pm – | Reception and dinner for delegates and guests at Madison's Olbrich Garden, site of the Thai Pavillion given to UW-Madison by the Royal Thai Government and the Wisconsin Alumni Association-Thailand. Delegates from each participating institution will sign an extension of the Consortium Agreement. |

| 8:30 – 11:30 am | Delegates will select from two concurrent sessions dealing with the theme of students and teaching. (Rooms to be announced) Each session will include a track of two to three presentations. Details of each track will be provided upon arrival at the meeting. |
| 11:30 am – 1:00 pm | The lunch break will offer two options. (Location to be announced) The first will be a working session for those delegates interested in creating student exchange agreements. The second option will be for delegates to have unscheduled time for networking. |
| 1:00 – 4:00 pm | The afternoon session will address professional and post-doctoral training and lifelong learning. (Room 1345 Health Sciences Learning Center) Delegates will hear from Dr. Peter Vlasses, Executive Director of the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education; Dr. David Warner, Director, Residency Program Development, Residency Accreditation Services Division, American Society of Health-system Pharmacists and Dr. Al Hanson, Chair of Extension Services in Pharmacy, University of Wisconsin. Dr. Sirada Maphanta of Naresuan University will address preceptor development. |
| 4:00 pm – | Delegates have the option of selecting one of two tours. One tour will include the UW School of Pharmacy building and Zeeh Pharmaceutical Experiment Station and the new Health Sciences Learning Center. The alternate tour will be of the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics Department of Pharmacy. |
| 7:00 pm – | Delegates and guests are invited to a farewell dinner at the Pyle Center on the shore of Lake Mendota on the UW campus. |

| 9:00 – 11:45 am | Final General Session (Room 1345, Health Sciences Learning Center)
During this session Dr. Connie Kraus (University of Wisconsin) will lead an extended conversation about the future of the Consortium. A panel of delegates will be selected to help facilitate the discussion around several questions pertaining to next steps as we enter the second phase of the Consortium agreement. The final item of business will be a discussion about the next meeting of the Consortium. |
| 11:45 am | Delegates will be provided a box lunch. Following lunch, delegates may wish to depart for Chicago for the annual meeting of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy or they may choose to linger in Madison. |
