Wisconsin Infectious Disease Drug Discovery Project


The Wisconsin Infectious Disease Drug Discovery Project is focused upon the development of new anti-infective drug therapies. The goal is to identify novel compounds with antimicrobial activity against the emerging clinical fungal and bacterial pathogens. A three year pilot version of this program began in 2007, funded by the University of Wisconsin Medical Education and Research Committee (MERC) (MERC) as part of the Collaborative Health Sciences Program.
